Happy Tuesday! Hope you are all having a great week! Today's technique is one I love to do!
Create a fun border on your layouts using your sewing machine or hand stitching.
The possibilities are endless! On this layout, I simply stitched around the black cardstock over and over in a whimsical pattern to create this stitched border. It adds a fun texture and interest to the page.
If you do not have a sewing machine, you can get the same effect by using a hole piercer and hand stitch your thread. There are many patterns you can follow. It's a fun technique...give it a try!
Post a link in your comment on this post to a page where you've sewn a border (or e-mail it to us) and I'll give you 5 Friendz Pointz!!!
Thanks to all of you who submitted projects for the January Girlfriend Of The Month Contest.....WOW!!! Amazing projects!! We are having a tough time judging them!! We will be announcing the winner ASAP!!
Also...don't forget....there are lots of fun ways to earn Friendz Pointz this week: One day left to get your Wacky Word Scramble finished, two days left to finish your Challenge Thursday Sketch, and three days to get your TGIF red, white & black card finished!!! Get busy people!!! {For more info on each, see the fast links to the right of this post!}
Have a great one!!!

Here is my layout for the challenge. I added a stitched border around the photograph. I love sewing on my pages and do it often!
Thanks...another layout complete!
The page on the left is for the sketch challenge and the one on the right is the stitching border challenge.
Kind of a double dip but not exactly. :)
