Did everyone have a wonderful Christmas? I did but I'm a little glad it's all over. I'm ready to get back to a somewhat normal schedule again.
As promised, I have a little giveaway for you! And all you have to do to win it is tell me something about your Christmas. It can be about your favorite gift, a family tradition, a funny Santa story, whatever! Everyone that posts between now and 11:59 pm (CST) New Year's Eve will be entered into a drawing. I will post the winner sometime New Year's Day.
Wanna see what you can win?

We have a tradition of leaving Snowman Poop sprinkled in our kids stockings and across the floor. They snowman poop is actually mini marshmallows. Snowman poop often finds it's way into stockings and shoes too. We clearly are no longer really tricking any of the five boys, but they all enjoy looking for it!
Hmmm, a little something about this Christmas! Well, this one was a little different for us b/c normally we go home and have about 5 different Christmas's but this year I got to host my first Christmas b/c my dd had just had her tonsils and adenoids removed a couple days before! As cramped as we were, we had a GREAT time!!
hmm.. Well this year my 7 year old daughter (who is very literal) informed me that "there is no way Santa exists"..when I asked who told her she said, "nobody, I am smart, I just know" and then I asked, "how do you know?" and she matter of factly tells me that, "b/c there is no possible way he could deliver all those presents in one night".. I told her it was magic and she then tells me that magic isn't real! ugh!
I didn't think the "magic" would be so short! I did tell her that Santa doesn't bring presents to those who don't believe, so she bought in... at least for another year!
Hope your Christmas was good!

My fiance make candles every christmas day... my dd really enjoy make candles with her dad. We do foot printer outside and sleigh too and also we do sugar powder in living room to make look like Santa walk in and out ... so fun do that ...
we had a great time !
Well, I will tell this story of this year because it is a first for me. I became very sick at about 8:00 am Christmas morning and missed the entire day. We didn't even come home until Wednesday, so needless to say with dh's work schedule we didn't do Christmas at home until last night. But it was so peaceful and enjoyable, getting to watch them open and do it all over again.
Christmas was fun--- I gave ds Ben- a "raincheck" from Santa for his Wii. It said he would get his wii between 12/25 and 1/30/08.... he got his wii about 15 minutes later..
We celebrate 2 Christmas. Traditionally with everyone and the Three Kings on Jan 6th- MY kids are so excited to leave water and hay out for the camels.

I just ran and ran and ran. Since DH and I are both children of divorce, our son has four sets of grandparents to make the rounds to and it is an effort to get em all in. So Sun, Mon and Tues was a race around town to see them all. Speaking of sprinkling snowman poop, my 2 year old had a busted diaper and as he was walking around opening presents, he was dropping a trail all around the gifts of his own. Less cute than the marshmellows though and quite smellier. Also, he got so into the toys he opened that he still has five he hasn't opened. Somehow this has evolved into Hanakkah....we're on day four today and gifts still sit...
A funny Christmas story...my grandparents gave my younger cousin on evelope with a card inside. He read the card and got a funny look on his face. The P.S. said "We wish it could be alot more" but she forgot to put in the check! The entire family was laughing so hard we had tears running down our faces!
I am still trying to un-bury ourselves from the messy explosion left from the Christmas Bomb!
What a fun simple day we had (our first) for our family of four : a VERY believing and excited 3 year old..(reciting.."I always wanted one of these")after opening the 'cheapest' gifts!! LOL and a cute as can be 7 month old who got lots of clothes(but of course) and her first dolly!
(a Madame Alexander like her mama had 30 years ago!!)
thanks for letting me share =)

My family and I just moved into a new home this year and we were all excited about getting a big ole REAL Christmas tree.
We spent several hours setting up the tree... stringing the lights, adding all the ornaments ... of which most are glass.
Several hours after setting our tree up, we were all relaxing in our living room, watching "Here Comes Santa Claus" ... when all of a sudden this 9 foot tree falls over right on top of my 5 year old son. Thankfully he was not hurt, but he was a little scared... We had broken ornaments all over the place (I forgot to mention, our floors are tile) Oh my, what a MESS! We are able to laugh about it now.. but when I was sweeping up the mess, I was crying at the same time! We had to take very thing off and reset the tree in the stand. My husband was SO sweet that night... while I was putting on the ornaments I would tell him where they came from and how many had a special story. Several that I had for years were broken into bits....
He removed everything from the tree... reset the tree and added everything back... all by himself.
AND he was happy to do it! Man, I'm one lucky gal!
we had an awful experience the last year my family bought a real christmas tree about 10 years ago! We were finding these little black bugs all over the house, we couldn't figure out where they were coming from! My parents were thinking about having to call an exterminator. The day we finally figured out that our christmas tree was infested was the day my dad went into the pantry, opened up a box of cereal or something, and it was FULL of those little black bugs!! We figured out there were tons of them hatching and coming out of the tree. We had to UNdecorate the tree and go buy a fake one! We have had a fake one ever since, and the tradition has continued on with my family. I will NEVER buy a real tree again!! lol.
Oh we have a tradition of playing a full ice hockey game on our back yard rink on new years eve! With friends of course! Flood lights, music...I'm sure the neighbours love us ;) lol
cool give away :)
We took the girls to a party on Sunday where Santa himself gave them their big gift...they spent a lot of time talking to him...it was amazing. I think this will be a memory that will be at the top of my list for a very long time. The magic of the season still alive in these children's eyes!

Our Christmas was pretty special for 2 reasons...
1)My Grandmas had been going downhill since Halloween, and about 2 weeks before Christmas, she perked right up, and is going great....Such a blessing considering we did not think she would be here to clebrate Christmas with us.
2) My dad surprised everyoen with the news that he is taking us all to Florida in March for a holiday...YAWHOO!!!!!
Happy new year
p.s. That is such a rocken RAK!!!!
This Christmas seemed to go as planned. I loved that my mom and sister did gingerbread houses with the kids. Esp since I ran out of time!
