Design Team Call!!

We are having a DT Call!! Scrap-friendzy is such a fun, active place to hang out and we are always having a blast, so if you'd like to join our team- here's your chance!!

Scrap-Friendzy is a challenge based site with a laid-back, friendly environment where everyone is welcome! We focus on inspiring and encouraging our members, as well as, teaching new techniques to take our scrapbooking & paper crafting to the next level!

If you are a kind, energetic paper crafter that enjoys inspiring, encouraging and educating others in our craft, then this might be the perfect place for you!

Chosen DT members will be responsible for daily posting on the message board, creating at least 2 challenges per month for our members, as well as participating in the challenges created by other design team members, and promoting, organizing and hosting events throughout their term. In return, we will promote your work, blog, etc through our site, blog and facebook page, and you will also receive a special kit full of fun scrappy goodies!

The call runs Sunday, August 26th through Sunday, September 9th.
This call is for a 6 month (+2 weeks) term beginning September 15,2012 through March 31,2012.

Camper of the Year

It has been a great summer here at Camp Friendzy but all things must come to an end.  Unfortunately even summer, which is slowly slipping away from us.  With school starting next week this is my last week of summer.  We had lots of fun hanging out at the mess hall and around the water at camp and I'm happy to say there was a lot of scrapping going on at this special camp :)  We had 4 ladies who earned all the badges given out at camp.

May Girlfirend of the Month

Congratulations to our May GOTM Kerys!!!!

Hi. My name is Kerys Sharrock and I am a SAHM with 2 awesome children and a wonderful husband. My son is 12 next week and my daughter is 8. We all moved to the USA from the UK in June 2010 and I think we have FINALLY adjusted!!! Mind you - I still call things by the wrong names and get some very weird looks! I am also CONSTANTLY being asked how long I am on holiday for! I don't think I will ever lose my English accent (unlike the kids) so I will just have to get used to it!

 

I started scrapping in January 2011 after my mum bought me some scrapbooking bits for Christmas - she didn't want me to get bored!!! Well - that was the start of it - and I haven't looked back since! I will admit that I am COMPLETELY hooked! I have slowly taken over my husbands study and am loving scrapping the photos that have sat on our computer since 2003 for nobody to see. I love anything by Echo Park, MME, Bo Bunny, Imaginisce...the list could go on, and have recently began to venture into altered projects. As long as I can 'play' with papers, twine, and other fun elements I am happy. I am currently on the design team for a sketch blog (Let's Get Sketchy) and a cutting files/stamps blog (The cutting cafe) - something I love and something that keeps me out of mischief!
